The first week of 2018 has been filled with excitement over OB/Gyns in the U.S. and around the world.
The first six weeks of 2018 saw the birth of 1,500 babies and more than 300,000 women with preterm birth, and many OB/gyns across the country are working hard to improve and expand their programs to better serve the needs of patients and families.
But the excitement isn’t just for OB/gyn, it’s for the health care workforce.
With the rise of the Internet and other technology-enabled services, the OB/gyn is an essential component of a woman’s care, with access to information and tools to help her understand her health, find a health care provider that is right for her, and work with her health care team to find and access care in the most convenient way possible.
While the OBGYN profession may not have as much impact as its peers, there are some great OB/Gyns that have helped bring us to this point.
Here are 10 OB/gdns that will help you gain an appreciation for what an OB/GD is, and where it can take you.
